In my recent post regarding the official announcement that “Phantasy Star Online 2″ was heading to North America, I alluded to the fact that it is currently ambiguous as to when this new entry into the series takes place. We’ve already established that the game fits into the storyline of the original titles and “Phantasy Star Online” (and by extension “Phantasy Star Zero”), but we don’t know exactly when it fits in with the saga.
I wrote a piece over at Anjel Syndicate reflecting on some of my thoughts regarding this, and I think it will make an interesting read for you all.
At some point I do plan to write a revised timeline, but I’ll wait until my thoughts are a bit better organized before taking that challenge on!
