Back on January 6, 2011 I embarked upon a new journey and opened up a gaming blog of my very own. There were several reasons for this, including being bored and in a creative mood, being asked several times in the past if I would consider setting up my own site, and finally the fact that I had wanted to set up a blog or gaming site for some time in the past, but had not had the willpower to go ahead with such a task. Still, it was something I was happy to do, and while I was not sure at first how a blog would turn out (generally because I could get easily distracted by real-life and potentially forget the site was there for months at a time), I am very pleased with where it has gone so far.
I never expected this blog to get as big as it has become. It started out really small and now has grown into something that has just over 3,700 followers as of today. Writing the blog has given me the impetus to do a regular podcast as well as some Let’s Play video series, and I’ve come to really enjoy all of that. Yet, despite however many followers this site may one day get, I want to make it clear that the nature of this site is something I don’t want to compromise. People seem very happy to come here each day and read about something that they may not have thought about or which was not plastered on every major gaming news venue out there. They like that this site doesn’t just kowtow to the journalism field as a whole and recycle the same content all the time, and they seem to appreciate the more personal spin that I put on things. I never want this site to become some sort of commercialized thing; I am very happy with how it is today.
It is my hope that this site – and all its related content – continues to grow and develop and to be something that people keep coming back to. It gives me pleasure to realize that people like my work, and I hope to be able to continue to supply them with said enjoyment for some time to come.
So, thank you, all of you who read and support this site, for being the awesome people that you are! ^.~

Thank you for being here! May you have many more years of bloggy goodness!
Happy Anniversary, Allahweh’s Domain! To celebrate, I’ll take the blog out to my favorite sushi place, and wash it all down with some good sake.
No, keep up the good work and I plan to be around. Stay original and heartfelt here. Keep it nerdy and deep. Let’s go!!!

Thanks for the positive notes and wishes guys! It’s been a fun journey so far and I am proud of where this little site has gone in just two short years! ^.^
