Looking forward to “Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter,” but missing out on the current Alpha phase? Worry not, because the Beta phase is on its way!
Currently, Perfect World has scheduled three major Beta Weekend Events for fans of the game to take part in. While access to these is not guaranteed, you can still sign up on the game’s website in order to be considered for access (you will need an account with Perfect World Entertainment to do so, but this is free). If you are dead-set on getting in and don’t want to play the numbers game, you can pre-order one of their many “Founder Packs” that come with a bunch of goodies and are available in several price ranges to guarantee your participation.
The Beta Weekend Events are scheduled for the following dates:
- February 8, 9, and 10
- March 8, 9, and 10
- March 22, 23, and 24
So far, the game is shaping up to be quite entertaining, so if this is your style of game you should head on over to their website and read up on all the details!
With this game, I think they’re adding The Foundry which was announced awhile ago. The user created content would be fitting for D&D. I hardly play the UGC in Star Trek Online but most I can tell are creative. Question is would it boost sales in books? I mean that as an open question.
